Ettor Strada is the CEO and Co-Founder of Education Consulting Advisory Team, LLC. He has 2 sons, 1 daughter, and 2 grandsons. Ettor served his country in the U.S. Army for nearly 14 years and was medically discharged after sustaining a non-combat related injury. After his discharge, he spent time advocating for his oldest son (John) in the school system, but realized he did not have the experience or knowledge to be effective. Ettor went on to get his degree and certifications in Special Education and started his educational career in the field of Special Education in 2006. Since then, he has served as a Special Education teacher in a public school, with the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections, and in a charter school.
During his time in the charter system, he was also a Special Education Coordinator, School Co-Principal, and District Special Education Director. In fact, Ettor was Co-Principal when his Charter School was named Charter School of the Year in 2016. In addition, he was recognized by the Exceptional Student Services Division of the Arizona Department of Education because the students with disabilities in his program demonstrated significant growth in state assessment scores. He currently lives with his wife of 26 years, 16- year-old son, 12-year-old daughter, three dogs, and a hamster.
