In addition, he was recognized by the Exceptional Student Services Division of the Arizona Department of Education because the students with disabilities in his program demonstrated significant growth in state assessment scores. He currently lives with his wife of 26 years, 16- year-old son, 12-year-old daughter, three dogs, and a hamster.
